The Barton Meat Company Ltd is the Fresh Meat division of 3663 First for Foodservice.
The company has three manufacturing sites based in London, Northampton and Manchester. All three facilities have been inspected to the BRC global standard and achieved grade "A" status, providing customer confidence that products are produced under strict hygienic standards with robust technical controls and procedures. The brand new facility in Manchester is a £5.2M investment and includes an in-house gammon curing operation, fresh sausage and burger manufacture, in addition to a butchery and packing operation. Their skilled butchers are able to prepare a wide range of cuts from standard fare through to fine dining.
The business procures products from the UK and throughout the world, bringing the best possible raw materials with which to work. All suppliers are subject to a rigorous inspection process before they can become an approved supplier. Barton Meat is also able to bring a 3 tier brand proposition, Choice, Select and Signature. All three brands bring guaranteed quality but enable the consumer to make a choice on value, maturation schemes and origin. Caterers are able to obtain sustainable meat products from The Barton Meat Company with a choice of Red Tractor poultry, lamb and beef, BPEX pork and Danish gammon, EBLEX beef and lamb as well as Quality Standard beef and lamb.
