Gonzalez Byass now available from Matthew Clark
Matthew Clark has announced the exclusive on-trade supply for and on behalf of Gonzalez Byass, including not only the world leading fortified brands of Tio Pepe and Croft, but also a number of other premium wines owned by the Gonzalez family. Gonzalez Byass is renowned for its premium fortified wine and brandy, but the family's interests have also diversified into the ownership of a number of premium vineyards in Castilla, Penedes and Somontano.
Andrea Ruggeri, Matthew Clark's director of purchasing, said "Having world renowned and quality brands such as Tio Pepe, the world leading Fino sherry and Croft Original, the leading Pale Cream Sherry, on offer to our customers is excellent news for Matthew Clark, and we are delighted to have Gonzalez Byass, a historic family business with such immense traditions, as part of our exclusive portfolio."
Other wines that are being added to the new wine list, to further strengthen Matthew Clark's Spanish offering, include the Gonzalez Byass Altozano range. Only recently re-launched, it offers a modern, fruit-driven style and is the first still wine to carry the Gonzalez Byass name, providing reassurance for customers in the company's 170 year history. |
